ESA Clinical Evaluation
An individualized clinical assessment process to explore whether an Emotional Support Animal may be appropriate for your mental health needs.
For some people, an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) may be considered as one possible part of a broader mental health treatment plan. However, the surge in online "certificate mills" has made it difficult for patients and housing providers to distinguish between genuine clinical needs and fraudulent documents.
At Serendipia Therapy, our process is informed by applicable Florida requirements and professional ethical standards. We do not sell letters or guarantee outcomes. Our service is a clinical evaluation.
No Guarantees
Documentation is considered only when clinically appropriate after an individualized evaluation. No outcome or housing decision is guaranteed.
Florida-Informed Process
Our process is developed with attention to applicable Florida requirements and federal housing guidance. Housing providers make their own accommodation decisions.
Clinical Integrity
Conducted by a licensed clinical social worker via secure video telehealth, with individualized assessment and professional clinical judgment.
